Claude Cowork is a capable autonomous agent. Staffinity is the one your compliance team can approve.
Anthropic® Claude Cowork launched in January 2026 as a desktop-first autonomous agent — "Claude Code for the rest of your work." It handles files, multi-step workflows, and enterprise plugins. But it runs through Anthropic's cloud, ships with acknowledged prompt injection vulnerabilities, and has no compliance archiving story for regulated industries.

The bottom line
Claude Cowork is technically impressive — Anthropic built it on the same foundation as Claude Code, which is genuinely strong. But it's a desktop-first tool for individual power users, not an enterprise deployment with a compliance architecture. It runs through Anthropic's cloud, has acknowledged prompt injection vulnerabilities, requires a separate macOS app, and has no story for regulated industries. Staffinity runs inside your own AWS environment, enforces access through your Entra ID, archives every interaction in WORM-compliant storage, and works natively inside Teams and Slack where your team already operates.
